We recently completed a job that involved using Owens Corning Duration Quarry Gray shingles. To ensure maximum durability, we utilized Polyglass self-adhered SBS modified roofing systems on the cricket and flat front porch. As part of the upgrade, we replaced the old dormer vents with new, low-profile O’Hagan vents, giving the roof a more modern look.

The Quarry Gray shingle is a stunning color option that is exclusively available in the OC TRUDuration shingle line, which is a step up from the OC Oakridge line. However, the Oakridge line is an outstanding shingle option as well.

Before we began the project, the roof had three layers of shingles, which you are allowed only two layers. Despite the challenge, the final outcome was picture-perfect.
